6-8-14 Pentecost!

The beginning skit “God’s Light” in this sermon is from Bare Feet and Buttercups by the Iona Community (2008). David Hamflett is the author of this particular skit (pgs. 35-36). Deacon Morris is reading.

The congregation has pinwheels that they are blowing each time they hear the words “Holy Spirit”, “Spirit”, and “wind”.  Some also have rainbow ribbon sticks that they are moving around. A very festive affair!

This is also my final sermon as Rector of St. Edward the Confessor Episcopal Church. My husband and I are moving to the Seattle area to spread God’s glitter there! 🙂
